GPS For Management also is affiliated with Precision Sales Systems, a consultancy specializing in the design and implementation of business development programs once the basic business strategy and communications platform are established. PSS works with companies lacking the staff to undertake systematic, continuing sales development efforts. It is led by Peter Helmer, a long time specialist in the field and focuses on two primary areas:
Business Development Planning - (1) Goal setting; (2) Sales Message development and (3) Prospect list development (4) Sales Tools (marketing materials etc), (5) Sales Process
Implementation of Business Development Programs : Lead generation/appointment setting calls and management of on-going communications with prospects.

PSS’s services are appropriate for small to mid-sized businesses where the professionals do all the client work and the selling (and thus sales development gets short shrift) and also larger firms needing help with special projects, such as entering new markets.

Prior to forming PSS, Peter had an extremely successful career in business development, having held senior positions with Prodigy, the internet innovator, Vocal Link (provider of messaging services) and Reis (provider of real estate investment information).He holds an MBA from Columbia University, an MA in Journalism from Ohio State University, and a BA from Hobart College.
